2On October 2-4, the second annual arts festival PARKovkawill take place in the cultural centerStariy Park. This year we will experience the beauty and power of the Russian art - from Russian icons and wooden architecture to modern painting and performance.
HOW THE FESTIVAL WILL PROCEED
PARKovka participants will be able to choose one of three art classes –“Theater”, “Floristics” or “Painting. Architecture. Sculpture". Each art class will consist of three stages of work:
- creative meeting (we’ll learn the theory, exchange our thoughts);
- master class (we’ll get new skills);
- creative laboratory (we’ll use the acquired knowledge in practice).
WHO WILL BE INTERESTED
The festival format is aimed at maximum immersion in the creative environment. It will suit you if:
- you are interested in art, but so far you know little about it;
- you study art and want to get new experience;
- you are professional and want to take a broader view on the creative process.
We will communicate, study and create on the territory of the Stariy Park cultural center, which will turn into a large art workshop during the festival.
Festival calendar
Art-class "Floristics" / October 2-4
In a programme:
1. Creative meeting with teachers of Moscow floristic schools Primavera (@primavera_scuola) and Vostok-Zapad (@vostokzapadfloristics), as well as with floristdesigner from Rostov-on-Don Maria Larionova (@marimarsel).
- we’lltalk about the trends of modern floristry, get acquainted with new techniques and materials;
- we will analyze the theme of the art class - "Russian motives";
- let's talk about choosing an artistic solution in the design of exterior art objects.
2. Master class:
- get acquainted with various floristic techniques;
- learn to work with materials of natural and artificial origin;
- we will master the work with color, size, texture.
3. Creative laboratory:
- we will arrange large-scale exterior art objects on the territory of the "Old Park";
- we will create accessories on the theme "Russian style".
During the solemn conclusion of the festival, participants in the Floristica art class will present their works for a charity auction..
Cost of participation:
- 8,000 rubles. - 3 days of training, all materials, photo session;
- 6,000 rubles. - 2 days of training, all materials, photo session;
- 4,000 rubles. - 1 day of training, all materials, photo session.
Every day of the art class is a full-fledged program consisting of a creative meeting, a master class and a laboratory.
Art class "Theater", 3-4 October
In a programme:
1. ) Meeting with Maxim Zhurkov and Roman Pozhidaev. The topic of the meeting: “Russian theater school. KS Stanislavsky's system and its global significance.
- MaksimZhurkov (@maxkabuki) — Senior Lecturer of the Department of Theatrical Art of the Krasnodar State Institute of Culture, artistic director and director of the Shardam Theater, member of the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation, laureate of international theater festivals and competitions.
- Roman Pozhidaev (@pozhidaev_roma) — director of the Donetsk youth theater "Balagan", actor of the Teather Labor troupe (Hamburg), teacher of acting, laureate of international and all-Russian theater festivals.
During the meeting, we will discuss topics:
- the origin of the Russian director's theater;
- basic principles of KS Stanislavsky's system;
- the world significance of the Russian theater school;
- students of KS Stanislavsky;
- drama by A. P. Chekhov;
- modern theater and drama.
2. Master class:
- practice the Stanislavsky system and Meyerhold biomechanics;
- we will work with stage speech.
3. Creative laboratory:
поставим театральный эскиз и покажем его зрителям.
The performance will be shown during the solemn completion of the PARKovka festival on October.
Participation fee: 3,500 rubles.
The price includes visiting three parts of the art class, coffee breaks, photo report.
Art class “Painting. Architecture. Sculpture ", October 3-4
In a programme:
1. Meeting with the candidate of art history, teacher of the Krasnodar State University of Culture and Arts, associate professor Svetlana Dmitrieva
During the meeting we will discuss:
- old Russian art from the end of the 10th to the end of the 17th century;
- russian Renaissance: from Peter I to the end of the 19th century;
- protests and compromises in Russian art of the 20th century.
2. Master class "The Art of Seeing":
- we will get acquainted with the works of artists from the collection of the "Old Park" and, using their example, we will learn to read and understand painting;
- get acquainted with the rules of composition: golden ratio, perspective, color.
3. Creative laboratory:
Using the knowledge gained, we will create art installations under the guidance of teachers from the IQ-Design School of Design, Architectural Creativity and Fine Arts IQ-Design (@iq_design_school).
Participation fee: 3,500 rubles.
The price includes a visit to three parts of the art class, materials for creating an installation, coffee breaks.
Open events "PARKovki-2020"
Events that can be attended with a regular ticket to the "Old Park"
- On October 2 at 17:00 "PARKovka" will officially open with a concert of the governor's chamber orchestra of the Kursk region.
- On October 3-4 an art bazaar will be open in the Old Park. Also, visitors to the cultural center will be able to enjoy photo zones that will be created by professional florists from Moscow and Rostov-on-Don and their students.
- On October 4 at 16:00 the solemn end of the PARKovka arts festival will take place. The program of the event includes a demonstration of art installations and floral compositions, a show of a theatrical sketch.
